He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon E. Rote and Dorothy M. "Bartley" Rote; his wife Arlene G. Boob; and his brother-in-law Allison Musser. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Jukes of Millheim, Richard Barger (Sharon) of Spring Mills, Terry Rote of Millheim and Jeff Rote (Jan) of Port Matilda; his sister Norma Musser of Milroy; and his grandchildren, Jennifer McClain (Josh) of Bosssier City, LA, Jamie Kasebier (Matthew) of Dover, Julie, Jeff Rote, Jr. of Dover, Tammy Ronk (Dale) of Spring Mills, Kelly Ronk of Spring Mills, Todd Barger (Crystal) of Spring Mills, Andrew Leigey (Amanda) of Colyer, Shanlly Storeman (Ron) of Beech Creek and Kayla Leigey (James Bilger) of Rebersburg. He is also survived by thirty-six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
