He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Shaffer and Eva L. Shaffer (Hartzell); and his brothers, Paul and Dewayne Shaffer. He is survived by: his daughter Grace Shaffer of Millheim; his grandsons, Cody and Brody Shreckengast; and his sister-in-law Diane Shaffer.
