He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Boonie Sr. and Irene Boonie (Warefield); and his siblings, Mary Lightner, Maxine Diehl, Carmon, Glenn, Wayne, Wesley (Bo), Charles, Jr., James Boonie and Paul Boonie.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Rockey; his children, Robin Kreider (Craig) and Travis Boonie (Angela); his grandchildren, Andrew McGlynn, Sarah Medina (David), Tanis Boonie and Gavin Boonie; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Coons, Jordan Medina, Alyssa Medina, Israel Medina and Yesenia Medina; and his sister Dorothy Jean Barrett.
