He is survived by: his children, Penny Robbins (Keith), Randy Heater and Mark Heater (Kelly); his grandchildren, Jacob Heater (Ashleigh), Caleb Heater, Bradley Robbins (Carrie), Blair Robbins (Whitney), Joseph Heater (Beth), Travis Bailey (Hannah), Mason Arnold, Mike Arnold and Taylor Arnold; his great grandchildren, Olivia Robbins, Allison Robbins, Dalton Heater, Derek Heater, Kaedon Bailey, Lylha Bailey, Randy J. Heater, Maddie Smith and Rylie Smith; his sisters, Velma Bailey, Ruth Powlison and Janet Tripp (Randy); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Heater, Merritt Heck and Richard Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
