He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Wheeler (Benson) and Norman Wheeler; his wife June Wheeler; his brothers, Roger and Rex Wheeler; his sister-in-law Mary Wheeler; and his great grandchild Collin Wayne Benson.
He is survived by: his children, Ellie Knapp (Chet), Beth Wheeler, Harold Wheeler (Ricanne), Daryl Wheeler (BettyJo Koser) and Boomer Wheeler (Ellen); his sister Beverly Phillips (Arland); and his sister-in-law Jane Wheeler. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
