He is survived by: his wife Sandra Doherty (Smith); his pet Maxx; his children, Joseph Doherty (Clorinda) of Goshen, NY, Rick Doherty (Simone) of Suffern, NY, Christopher Doherty of Campbell Hall, NY and Sara Kern (Matt) of Suffern, NY; and his stepchildren, John F. Kennedy of Elmira, NY, April Hortman (Bill) of Campbell, NY and Lynette Teets of Athens, PA. He is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
