He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Benson and Myra Benson (Griffin); his brother Shirley "Squirt" Benson; and his grandson Colin Benson. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Talada (Steve) of Millerton, PA, Wayne Benson (Joanne) of Columbia Crossroads, PA and E. J. Benson (Shannon) of Millerton, PA; and his siblings, Barbara Bailey of Daggett, PA, Marie Smith (Richard) of Pine City, PA, Donald Benson of Mansfield, PA and Dean Benson of Covington, PA. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.
