He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude J. Holmes and Alice V. Holmes (Jones); his stepmother Laura Holmes; his sister Roberta Glover; and his stepbrother Walter Facemyer.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia A. Holmes of Millerton, PA; his son Donald; his daughter-in-law Tresa Holmes, Jr. of Millerton, PA; his grandchildren, Kylie Holmes (Kurtis Wolfe) of Greencastle, PA and Collin Holmes of Millerton, PA; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Anne Holmes of Pine City; his sister Judy Tolbert of Farmington, NY; and his stepbrother John (Melody Beard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fitzsimmons Cemetery.
