He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vargson and Vivian Vargson (Emery); and his sisters, Debra and Loretta. He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Jon Deats (Amanda Simpson) of Elmira, NY and Lena Cole of Millerton, PA; his grandchildren, Colton Clark, Lillie Simpson and Lana Simpson; his siblings, Diane Shrout (Andy Rhoades) of Beaver Dams, NY, Sharon, Linda, Annette, Darlene, Monica, Sherree, Bud and Eugene; and his close friends, Paul Wood and Jeff Talada. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
