She was predeceased by: her parents, Witmer Neff and Ellen Neff (Stauffer); and her sisters, Frances Herr and Alice Grossman. She is survived by: her husband Warren E. Newcomer; her sons, Melvin (Mindy) and Robert (Mimi); and her grandchildren, Mark, Megan, Robert, Julie and Michael. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
