He was predeceased by: his parent William S. Brandt; his stepparent Charles L. Beard; and his brother William G. Brandt. He is survived by: his parent Gertrude I. Brandt Beard (George); his wife Helen E. Brandt (Marshall); his daughters, Cynthia A. Brandt, Lancaster Glatfelter and Carole S. Brandt Glatfelter; his grandchildren, Matthew R. Glatfelter and Daniel T. Glatfelter; and his nephew Donald B. Brandt.
