Mara Rekis Anderson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mara Rekis Anderson of Millersville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mara Rekis Anderson to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alberts Rekis and Zenta Rekis (Rutkis); her sisters, Dace Eaby and Ilze Berzins (Gerald Groff); her niece Sarah Eaby; and her nephews, Karlis Berzins, Adams Berzins and Davis Berzins.
Family members were familiar with the city of Wuhan, China before the pandemic because Mara had spent the summers there in 1983 and 1984 at HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology) teaching English to faculty who were preparing to study/work in North America and Great Britain.
