She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur Hess; her former husband Edward B. Leaman; her son Edward Leaman, Jr.; and her siblings, Donald Colvin and Jane Shertzer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gettys (John "Jack") and Lori Jo Shearer (Ben). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
