She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Ann Wilson; and her son Johnny Benton of Leola. She is survived by: her pets, Matty and Akia; her grandchildren, Christina, Nick, Sean and Tony Jr; her great grandchildren, Blade, Raelynn, Braxton and Avah; her husband Thomas Murphy III of Millersville; and her children, Carmen Swinehart (Mike Swinehart) of Columbia and Tony Benton of Leola.
