He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and June Wiant, Sr.; and his siblings, Richard Wiant (Dick), Harold Wiant (Art), Betty Preston, Homer Best (Jack), John Nederriter, Ray (Darlene Fescenmyer), Joe (Dot Fescenmyer) and Harold Pletcher (Darlene Wiant).

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Ray Alan Wiant (Shelly) of Brookville, Robin McConahy (Lonnie) of Hillsville and Robert Wiant (Patty) of Shippenville; his siblings, Joan Pletcher of Clarion, Jim Wiant of Barberton, John Wiant of Clarion, David Wiant Menge (Pat) of Colchester, CT and Paul Wiant (Sue) of LomPoc, CA; his sisters-in-law, Florabell Best of Shippenville, Bonnie Wiant of Clarion and Diana Wiant of Fairlawn, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Ray Wiant, Jr. (Elizabeth), Trista Velasquez (Chris), Kayla Reyes (Tory), Jason Wilson (Amy), Mark Myers, Matthew Wilson (Jen), Katie Reed (Tristan), Breanna Benschoter (Andrew), Matthew McConahy, Cortney McConahy, Victoria Snow, Jr. (Ron), Robert Wiant, Jr., Missy Goodman, Amanda Miller and Chris Johnson. He is also survived by many Godchildren, nieces, nephews and 14 1/2 great-grandchildren.
