He is survived by: his wife Bobbi Jo Clay; his parents, Douglas Adam and Patricia Adam (Bressler) of Heidelberg Township; his children, Kaiya Clay of Millerstown and Jess Smith of Myerstown; his stepchildren, James Hess Jr. of New Bloomfield and Nicolette Hess-Fakis of Middletown; his siblings, Jerry Hartgen of Robesonia, Lori A. Kline of Texas and Rhonda Kleinspehn of Sinking Spring; his grandmother Edna Marderness of Stouchsburg; and his grandson Austin. He is also survived by six aunts; one uncle; several nieces and nephews.
