He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Rode and Jane L. Rode (Alleman). He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Miller of Halifax; his brothers, Ronald (Doris) and David (Jean); and his grandsons, Ethan James and Benjamin Grayson (Halifax).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Homeland Hospice organization, whose caregivers provided extraordinary support and comfort during his final days.
