It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Romaine Raker of Millersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Leitzel and Florence Leitzel (Stoneroad); her husband Harvey Grant Raker; her son Donald Raker; and her sister Doris Boyer.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Miller (Duane), Shirley Troutman (David), Dianna Simpkins (Jason), Ronald Raker (Theresa), Richard Raker and Steven Raker; her daughter-in-law Patricia Raker; her sisters, Grace Straub, Faye Wolfgang (Daniel) and Janet Shaffer; and her grandchildren, Marcia Adams, Richelle Bohner (David), Rhonda Tobin, Rachael Pensyl, Renee Grave (Isaac), Max Miller, Andrew Raker, Joseph Raker, Mark Simpkins (Tara), Daniel Raker, Megan Simpkins and Philip Raker (Rachel). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery Association.
