She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Goodling and Amy Goodling (Bonawitz); her brother Dr. Richard A. Goodling; and her husband Ralph M. Riegle. She is survived by: her daughter Christine Walter (Bruce); her grandchildren, Dana Witmer (Jonathan) and Timothy Walter (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Haley, Zachary, Wesley Witmer, Macy and Zoey Walter; and her nieces and nephews, Rick, Dave, Jim Goodling, Elizabeth Gibbons and Rebecca Saitta.
Memorial donations may be made in Ruth's name to Ned Smith Center for Nature and the Arts, Millersburg Ferryboat Association, or to Trinity UCC.
