He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood "Turkey" and Miriam P Hoover (Weaver). He is survived by: his children, Byron B. (Laura Hoover), Stafford, Brandon B. Hoover and Lori L. (John Faust); his grandchildren, Adam (Laura), Nathan, Abigail, Noah, Jonah and Nory B.; and his sisters, Deanna Frankovich (Leonard) and Sharon Bond (Robert).
