He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Black and Anna Black (Zimmerman); his sister Lois Krotser; his daughter-in-law Sharon Black; and his brother-in-law Jack Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Black (McGuire); his children, Jeffery Black, Robin Pyle (Steven) and Sheila Zeiders (Sean); his sister Peggy Hoffman; and his grandchildren, Rachael Young (Charles), Jessica Strohecker (Jarid), Tim Bordner Jr., Chad Pyle and Erin Rogers.
