We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2022, at the age of 88, Dorothy M. Howard of Millersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Dalmatia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shaffer and Mary Shaffer (Zeiders); her husband Richard L. Howard; her daughter Kathleen Begani; and her siblings, Rosella Shaffer, Eleanor Reitz, Gladys Hain, Mildred Hartman, Arlene Zartman, Alfreda Shreffler and Clarence.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Caruso (Stephen) of Harrisburg, Wayne of Halifax, Randall (Crystal) of Millersburg and Alan (Heather) of Millersburg; her grandchildren, Matthew Howard (Sandra) of Theresa, NY, Nathan Begani (Shara) of Thompson Station, TN, Jeremy Howard of Georgetown, SC, Shawn Howard of Elizabethville, Colby Howard of Pigeon Forge, TN, Courtney Ingalls (Eugene) of Mechanicsburg, Tessa Bartlett (Ryan) of Harrisburg, Joshua Howard (Madison) of Harrisburg, Jordan Caruso of Albany, NY and Dominic Caruso of Columbus, OH; and her great grandchildren, Donovan, Riley Howard, Anne, Mae, James Begani, Joseph Ingalls and Kellan Bartlett.
