He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Leitzel and Marguerite Leitzel (Row); and his brothers, Mark, Earl and Captain Robert Leitzel.
He is survived by: his son Troy; his daughter-in-law Mimi; and his grandchildren, Ellie and Macy Leitzel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Fisher House Foundation, which provides veterans and their families housing near their healthcare facilities.
