He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Irene Carter (Blizman) of Carmichaels and James Yeckel Carter; his wife L. Lorraine Carter (Whoolery); and his siblings, Phillip R. Carter of Carmichaels and Joan C. Gray of Long Island, NY..
He is survived by: his siblings, Susan G. Carter of Carmichaels and Barry W. Carter (Cathy) of Carmichaels; his children, Sharon A. Troyer (Kevin) of Waterford and James Carter (Belinda) of Yuma, AZ; his grandchildren, Kylee, Colby, Kamryn Troyer and Seth Carter (Amanda); his great grandchild Bella; his grandson Travis Carter; and his son Cole.
