He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred D. Bigam and Edna Dull Bigam; his wife Linda Aker Bigam; his son Mark C. Bigam; his sister Roberta Eicher; and his brothers-in-law, Roger "Dub" Eicher and Dale Eicher.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Bigam (Tammy) of Columbus, Ohio and Chris Nicholson of Normalville; his grandchildren, Mariah Bigam, Jason Bigam (Kayla), Tyler Nicholson (Emily), Emily Butler (Bryce) and Travis Nicholson (Sarah); and his sister Naomi Eicher of Mill Run. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; seventeen great nieces and great nephews and thirty nine great great nieces and great great nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested by the family to the Springfield Twp.
