He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis E. Lucas, and Annabelle Lucas, Sr. (Baird); his son Steven Lucas; and his grandsons, Jarod Maggs and Dustin Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Lucas (Brungard); his children, Dawna Mann (Denny) of Mackeyville, Diane Maggs (John) of Beech Creek and David Lucas (Donna) of Boalsburg; and his grandchildren, Jaime McCann (Chipp), Amanda Maggs, John M. Maggs (Sarah), Phillip Mann (Alexandra), Mark Maggs (Jennifer), Tosha Fradillada (Tony), Ryan Maggs (Kate), Sarah Lucas and Amber Lucas. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
