She was predeceased by: her parent Addison D. Young; her husband Claude E. McDermit (Mickey); her mother Bertha E. Young (Delaware County) of Glenolden; her siblings, Charlotte Thomas (Young), Mary Curtiss (Young), Othmar, Donald, David, Robert and Addison Young Jr.; her granddaughter Cassandra McDermit; and her daughters-in-law, Marian J. McDermit (Buckle) and Kimberly McDermit (Condo).
She is survived by: her children, Rose Rector (McDermit) of Lock Haven, Thomas McDermit of Lock Haven, Gregory McDermit of Lock Haven, David McDermit of Lock Haven and Gary McDermit of Douglassville, PA.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
