As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy McCune Shafer; and his former wife Elizabeth Keenen Shafer. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Louise Bankert Shafer of Mill Hall; and his children, Maureen Johnson (Kerry) of Mill Hall, Kathy Aurand (Bob) of Texas, Michael Shafer (Lori) of Mill Hall, Kerry Shafer (Kris) of Virginia and Arika Morrison (Eric) of North Carolina. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
