He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Butler Sr. and Rose Moore. He is survived by: his wife April D. Sample; his children, Lesta K. Mcgorry (Thomas) and Terry L. Butler Jr. (Kelly); his grandchildren, Cody, Dustin, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Rebecca, Samantha and Thomas Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Mia, Abigail, Emma and Gracelyn.
