She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Alterio and Annie Alterio (Tenalio) of Bellefonte; and her siblings, Nancy Figdore, Mary Cleary, Lucy Zimmerman, Phil Alterio and Vance "Jimmy" Alterio.

She is survived by: her husband Kenny of Salona; her children, Lisa Lee (David) of Mount Holly Springs, Jeffrey Orndorf of Mill Hall and Harold Orndorf (Billie) of Blanchard; her grandchildren, Aaron Lee (Kate) of Beavercreek Falls, OH, Amanda Matter (Seth) of Centre Hall, Alicia Cramer of Shippensburg, Matthew Orndorf of Blanchard and Delessa Orndorf; her great grandchildren, Enslee Cramer and Caden Lee; her stepchildren, Robert Tressler (Sandy) of Mill Hall and Sandra Tressler of State College; her stepgrandchildren, Hunter and Sloane Tressler; and her siblings, Helen "Betty" Cowher of Millheim, Rosella Fetterolf of State College, Janet Hartman of Huntington, Dorothy Thompson of Bellefonte, John "Sonny" Alterio of Pittsburgh, Anthony "Tony" Alterio of Centre Hall, Joey Alterio of Bellefonte, Frank Alterio of Howard and Pete Alterio of Marsh Creek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Rose's name may be made to the Beech Creek American Legion Auxiliary through the funeral home.
