He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Gillen and Kathryn Gillen; his wife Ardena Gillin; his children, Robert Russell Gillin of Mill Hall and Kathryn L. Gillin of Mill Hall; his grandchildren, Miya Clair and Noah Cooper Gillen; and his siblings, Alice Gordon (Steve) of Mt. Airy, MD and Bruce Gillin (Pat) of Gettysburg. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
