He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rogers and Gladys Houser; his wife Alva Houser; his brothers, Barry Taylor and Glenn Frank; his great grandchild Riley Houser; and his stepgrandson Randy Laubscher.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie L. Cross (Ron Laubscher) of Avis, Richard L. Houser, Jr. (Trudy) of Mill Hall, Thomas E. Houser (Karen) of Mill Hall, Harry S. Houser (Pam) of Mill Hall and Betty A. Lamey (Douglas) of Flemington; and his siblings, Lyle Taylor of Lock Haven, Grace Smead of Bellefonte, Mary Confer of Milesburg and Shirley Klinger of Bellefonte. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 13 great, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. (231 High St, Lock Haven, PA 17745). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
