He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Courter and Elizabeth Courter; and his brother Nevin Courter. He is survived by: his children, Gail E. Courter of Mill Hall, PA and Michael W. Courter (Krista) of Mill Hall, PA.; his grandchildren, Brooke Heggenstaller (Kyle), Tyler Bardo (Ashlee) and Kyle Courter (Haylea); his stepgranddaughter Camille Wallace (Zach); his great grandchildren, Rocky Heggenstaller, Madalynn Courter and Marlee Bardo; his siblings, Lois Rogers (Richard) of Mill Hall, PA and Blair Courter (Elaine) of Mill Hall, PA; and his pets, Molly, Scooby and Tuffy.
