He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Matter and Grace Brungard Matter; his wife Margaret Royer; and his stepdaughter Christina Stiver. He is survived by: his children, Leann Li (John) and Rodney Matter (Samantha); his grandchildren, Michala Matter, Tresa Matter, Katie Li, Nathaniel Li, Brendan Li, Andy Garbrick, Brandon Stiver and Jamie Stiver; and his great grandchild Kanden Rudy. He is also survived by two brothers; and four sisters.
