We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2024, at the age of 80, Ruth Ann Haylett of Mill Creek, Pennsylvania, born in Concord, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold F. Shearer and Edith B. Shearer (Gallagher); her husband Daryl L. Haylett; her son-in-law Bob Jewell; and her brother David Shearer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Penny A. Smeltz (Harold) of Stoneboro and Tammy L. Jewell of Ravenna, OH; her siblings, Aileen Webster of Michigan, Eleanor Coppernoll of Michigan, Helen Kimball (Hal) of Michigan, Babe Holloman of Michigan, Robert Shearer of Michigan and Frank Shearer of Sandy Lake; her grandchildren, Scott, Nichole, Kimberly, Stacy and Holly; and her great grandchild Whyatt.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorials be made in her name to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 1645 W. 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
