She was predeceased by: her parents, Ken Grove and Lillie Grove (Cartwright). She is survived by: her husband Joseph C. Kurtz, Sr.; her sons, Joseph C. Kurtz, Jr. (Bethany) of Wood, Brian G. Kurtz (Chanee) of Chesapeake, VA, Justin R. Kurtz (Danielle) of Mill Creek and Raymond L. Kurtz of Mill Creek; her grandchildren, Chase A. and Arliegh G. Kurtz; her sister Tina L. Smith of Mill Creek; and her nephews, Jeffrey W. Sloan and John Wayne Smith, Jr..
