He was predeceased by: his parents, Blair Diven and Margaret Diven (Rittenhouse); his grandson Derek Whitsel; and his siblings, Robert, Terry, James Diven and Peggy Shaffer (Diven).
He is survived by: his uncle Roy; his aunt Geraldine Brotemarkle; his children, Brian Purdy (Sonya) of Leola, Ashley Fleck (Terri) of Everett and Stacia Sims of Virginia; his grandchildren, Jesse Orndorf of Harrisburg, Kenny Diven Elmore of Texas, Autumn Whitsel of Three Springs, Teagan Fleck of Artemas, Lacey Fleck of New Enterprise, Landon Fleck of Everett, Matthew McCloskey of Pittsburgh, Nick McCloskey of Philadelphia, Amanda Wilson (Purdy) of McVeytown, Joshua Purdy (Amber) of McAlevy's Fort, Dizzy of Leola and Kris Serrano of Leola; his great grandchildren, Dayvian, Jensen and Braylon Wilson; and his siblings, Donald Diven, Clair Diven (Sharon) and Deb Price (Galen) of McVeytown.
