He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Smith and Margaret Smith; his brother Eugene Philip Smith; his wife Alice Sheldon; and his children, Nancy Motyka (Scott) of Charleston, SC, Laura Stathis of Sinking Spring, PA, Theresa Webb (David Condon) of Eden, Raymond Smith, Jr. of Rockaway, NJ and Thomas Smith (Ruth Ann) of Waxhaw, NC.. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, as well as three nephews and two nieces.
