He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christopher Panay and Helen Panay (Nicholau); his wife Kathryn M. Panay (Coles); his children, Matthew C. Panay and Laura E. Breusch (Lester); his grandchildren, Elena, Ava and Logan Breusch; and his siblings, Mary Eletheriou (Terry), John Panagy and Andrew Panagy (Barbara).
