He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Slater and Ethel Slater (Hawker). He is survived by: his wife Elisa Slater; his son Christopher Slater; his pet Fancy; his children, Sara Kohut (Ron), Courtney Radosti and Brenden Slater; his stepson William Stagen (Megan); his daughter Luna; his sister Laurie McAllister (Craig) of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Crowe, Robert Crowe, Peter Crowe, John Mykalosky, Allen Bouchard, Kathy Mykalosky, Donna Bouchard, Cathy Crowe and Joan Crowe. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
