He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Haagen; his former wife Jane Haagen; and his siblings, James Joseph Haagen, Jerome Haagen, Richard Haagen, Neil Haagen, Jeanette Robinson, Winifred Kozicky, Relda Breon, Wilda Haagen, Jean Abbott and Doris Haagen.

He is survived by: his parent Frances Confer Haagen; his wife Jane Sampsel; his children, William E. Haagen (Mary Ann McDonough) of Milesburg, Randy L. Haagen (Lisa) of Port Matilda and Leslie A. Dubbs of Mill Hall; his stepdaughter Cathy Rudd of Bellefonte; his sister Shirley McCloskey of Yarnell; his grandchildren, Michelle Haagen, Craig Haagen, Amanda Haagen, Tiffany Dubbs and Rachel Dubbs; and his stepgrandchildren, Pat McDonough, Ryan MacNamara, Collin MacNamara, Amelia Benner and Deloss Rudd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Yarnell United Methodist Church , 1216 Runville Road, Bellefonte, PA 16823, in Memory of W. Vance Haagen.
