He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Young and Helen A. Harter Young; his wife Helen Young (Smoyer); his daughter Shirley Young; his siblings, Virgina Meyer, Mildred Rogers, James C. Young, Jr. and Glenn Young; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Young.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Young of Runville and Kimberly Moore of Runville; his brothers, Dale Young (Norma) and Mike Young of Mingoville; his grandchildren, Brian Young of Julian, Travis Young of State College and Sierra Page (Brad) of Julian; and his great grandchild Aidan Young. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
