Pauline Burns Obituary
Pauline Burns, 94, of rural Julian passed away at her home on Friday, May 19, 2023 surrounded by her family. Pauline was born in Bellefonte on March 8, 1929, the daughter of the late William and Anna Hale Breon. On August 4, 1945 she married John H. Burns who preceded her in death on November 27, 2022.
Pauline is survived by her children, Thomas H. Burns, Paul M. Burns, Mary (Charles) Hall, Margaret (Barry) Comly, Earl L. (Cindy) Burns, Nancy (William) Cowher, Helen (Ryland) Brower all of rural Julian, and Frank E. (Karen) Burns of Yarnell; also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her step mother, Isabel Breon, her siblings, John Breon, Margaret Kelly, Pearl Davis and Robert Breon; her daughters-in-law, Helen Burns and Barbra Burns; her grandson, Paul Burns, Jr., her great granddaughter, Samantha Hall and her great great granddaughter, Ella Burns. Pauline was a homemaker and was a member of the Fleming Free Methodist Church.
Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 4 PM to 7 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Melody Weston officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Meyer Cemetery, Benner Twp., Centre Co.
