She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee P. Fetzer and Margaret Bathurst Fetzer; her husband Philip Sampsel; and her brothers, Lee Fetzer and O. Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Sampsel (Marcia) of Dover, DE, Stephen A. Sampsel of Coleville and Jennifer L. Kellerman of Bellefonte; her grandchildren, Bryan Sampsel, Andrew Kellerman, Sara Robison and Heather Donovan; and her great grandchildren, Cole Sampsel, Hannah Sampsel, Jack Kellerman and Julien Robison.
