Kenneth P. Snavely Obituary

Kenneth P. Snavely, 62, of Milesburg passed away at Geisinger Medical Center on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Ken was born in Bellefonte on October 13, 1960, the son of the late Paul E. and Helen I. (Decker) Snavely. On September 30, 1995 he married the former Polly Hinton (Snavely) who preceded him on June 26, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Misty R. Stover of Beech Creek and his sister Sandy K. Pieper of Jersey Shore. Also surviving is Ken's caregiver, Vickie Franklin. Along with his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by his brother, Henry W. Snavely.

Ken was a cook at Rockview SCI and Hilton Garden Inn before his retirement. He was a member of the Brookside Wesleyan Church. He also was a member of the Citizens Hook and Ladder Co. and enjoyed assisting in their fund raising. He was a SAL member of the Milesburg American Legion and a former member of the Milesburg Lions Club.

Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
