She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lyons and Lila Shaffer Lyons; her husband Richard E. Butler; her children, Dennis and Barbie Ann Butler; and her siblings, Edna Lyons, Norman Lyons and Clarence Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Richard L. Butler (Barbara) of Bellefonte and Patsy L. Burns (William) of Bellefonte; her siblings, Ruth Simco of State College, Helen Griffith (Bill) of Yarnell and Charles Lyons of Lewistown; her grandchildren, Andrew Burns of Milesburg, Joshua Butler (Lisa) of Milesburg and Ashley Shaffer of Tyrone; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Grace and Isaac. She is also survived by her 3 dogs.
