John H. Rogers, 72, of rural Howard, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023. John was born on June 11, 1950 in Jersey Shore, a son of the late Robert E. and Grace Rogers Rogers.

John H. Rogers, 72, of rural Howard, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023. John was born on June 11, 1950 in Jersey Shore, a son of the late Robert E. and Grace Rogers Rogers. On March 17, 1972, he married Linda L. (Bloom) Rogers who survives at home, Also surviving are his daughters, Brenda Loesch of rural Howard and Tammy (Gary) Anderson of Howard; his grandchildren, Brandy Ripka, Rebecca "Becky" Loesch, David Loesch and Jeremy Loesch; his siblings JoAnne Yearick of Newport, and Steven Rogers of Niagara Falls, NY. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Rogers.

John served his country proudly in United States Marine Corps. Before his retirement, he was a guard at SCI Rockview. John was of the Protestant Faith. He enjoyed classic cars, assembling models and tinkering.

Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10 AM – 11 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM with Pastor Jay Saldana officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home. Burial will be in Schencks Cemetery, Howard Twp., Centre Co, PA.
