Jason M. Burd Obituary
Jason M. Burd, 42, of Milesburg, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Born on October 27, 1981, in State College, he was the son of Leonard M. and Kathy A. (Meter) Burd of Milesburg.
Jason was a 2000 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in Organizational Leadership. He was currently working for the Pennsylvania State University, Main Campus, in the OPP department.
Jason was the life of a party. He looked forward to the family vacations and it was always an adventure when he was around. He had the biggest and brightest smile and people would comment on how contagious his smile was. He also had the biggest heart. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.
Jason loved spending time with his family, especially his children. He made it a point to attend as many of their activities as possible. He also enjoyed quiet times, with his dog, Scout, in the yard or in the mountains. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
Jason is survived by his parents; two children: Colbey S. Burd of Snow Shoe and Savannah R. Burd of Milesburg; one sister, Jessica L. Burd and her fiancé, Jared Bornman, of Enola, PA; a nephew, Braden Bornman and a niece Kayleigh Lingle.
He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 11am, at the Advent Cemetery in Boggs Twp, with Pastor Catherine Dittman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PAWS, 1401 Trout Rd, State College, PA 16801 Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc in Milesburg, PA.
