He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey R. and Verdie M. Lucas Nyman Sr.; and his siblings, Annabell Hoffer, Virginia Nyman, Clara M. Jones, Faye Nyman, Mary Jodon, Robert G. Lucas and Ernie Nyman.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah L. Meiss; his daughters, Debbie S. Emel Sr. (Ty) of Bellefonte, Tina M. Thompson of Bellefonte and Wendy I. Cooper, Sr. (Tom) of Milroy; and his sister Betty A. Fultz of Potters Mills. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
