He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. McMullen and Pearl Whiteman McMullen; his wife Vivian Starr; and his siblings, Don, Bob, Eleanor and Anna.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ken (Joan), Jack, Jim, Dick (Arlene), Eloise and Sally. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
